Firefox doesn's respect GNOME font settings. See http://i.imgur.com/jB08V.png to see what it looks like compared to the rest of my (GNOME 2) desktop. The system default is DejaVu Sans Condensed. Firefox seems to pick regular Bitstream Vera/DejaVu or something like that.
This has been the behaviour in both Firefox and Thunderbird since 2007 at least, the former of which I've worked around with local userChrome.css changes. Is there a reason that these applications behave like this by default?
Reproducible: Always

Is this still present in the latest trunk?
