F1 had similar code to this in the beginning which was taken out for lack of a clear path to surfacing the "smarts".

If we can detect that people use a certain service.  Detecting use is based off of a saved password for the domain of a service.  We should offer a faster path to enabling those accounts.

See attachment 522780 [details] from bug 642684 for an example.  This bug is about the chrome code required to inform the client code that our user may prefer certain accounts.

I don't think we can expect this change will make Firefox 5 as the timeline is tight but we should track it none the less.
