This is a W3c Standard for using <Colgroup> and <Col> for formatting table cells in the same column.

But at this time, webkit only apply the width setting specified in the <colgroup> and <col>.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Load http://www.w3schools.com/TAGS/tryit.asp?filename=tryhtml_col_test in FireFox and IE

Actual Results:  
Text Alignment inside cells don't change

Expected Results:  
Text Alignment should honour the style applied
Status: UNCONFIRMED → RESOLVED
