User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_6_7; en-US) AppleWebKit/534.16 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/10.0.648.204 Safari/534.16 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 When browsing any website (I've had this happen on Wikipedia, ThinkGeek, Gizmodo, and even Bugzilla), the browser suddenly stops responding to input. The Firefox process takes 100% CPU, and I have to force quit the browser. Waiting does not solve the problem. It has happened me 10 times tonight, and it happens every time. Reinstalling Firefox did not solve the problem. Also, it started suddenly. I have not changed anything on my Firefox config, nor my OS X config. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Browse as you would normally do. 2. Sooner or later, it will crash. 3. Actual Results: Crash. Expected Results: Browse normally. I have played with some Google Chrome files (some software update daemons and agents), and the crashes only started after this. However, I find it hard to believe that the two might be linked.

I managed to fix the problem by deleting the Firefox folder from /~/Library/Application Support. I then imported my bookmards (which I had previously backed up) and reinstalled all my extensions.
