Hi Tara - can you review the current state of the email signup inside the footer and make sure this is working for you from a design stand point? We're trying to roll this out next week. On staging:

Looks good on my end... is this just a review bug or did you need additional assets made here?
Is there a reason why we've lost the FB and Twitter icons in the footer next to "more ways to connect"? It looks a bit empty in that space without them, that's why I'm asking.

Good question. We removed the twitter/facebook links to give additional weight to the email opt-in.
This doesn't address your concern about space - but I do think we need to add facebook / twitter icons inside inside the bubbles above "more ways to connect". That would be an additional asset.

Thanks Winston, perhaps you've thought of this already... but If you're trying to give more weight to the email section, why not expand that piece into the now empty space so it's more visible? Or, move it all the way to the left, and put "more ways to connect" on the right. It just feels a little odd the way the content is placed right now with a big gap in the middle. My 2 cents.
I'll ask Lee to add an "f" and "t" into the bubbles, that's no problem.

Regarding comment 3 -
Actually, I love option 2 - putting the email to the left and moving social
pieces to the right.
So we'd have:
- email sign up on left
- Let's be friends, facebook, twitter to the right
And I still think we can get rid of the More ways to connect. It's just
linking them to a separate page with our opt-in CTAs.

Thanks guys!

Ok. so, just so I'm clear, are you going to have "f" and "t" in the chat bubbles AND include the facebook and twitter icons? isn't that a bit much / redundant ?

No - sorry. No f / t icons in bubbles. We won't use the graphic that Lee created. Sorry Lee!
