User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 Is it just me who's disturbed by the fact that the new status bar protrudes into the bottom area of a web page? Particularly web page specific status messages, like e.g. Hotmail's "Loading..." message are hidden by FF's status bar. Elements positioned as "position: absolute; bottom: 0; left: 0;" are mainly endangered to escape the user's notice. => security risk. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Log into a Hotmail account using a low-speed Internet connection 2. Click the Inbox hyperlink Actual Results: The Hotmail "Loading..." status message is hidden by FF's "javascript:;" status message. Expected Results: The status bar should be outside of the web page content. Preferrably below.
