From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; 0.7) Gecko/20010109 BuildID: 2001010901 Not sure what the cutoff number is but it does not grab all my IE imported bookmarks. Doesnt crash though. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Have ALOT of IE bookmarks 2.Let Mozilla import them 3.View your ie imported bookmarks and compare them Actual Results: Not all of the bookmarks were there in the IE imported bookmark section. Expected Results: Impored all the bookmarks
we need a screen shot of your moz imported ie bookmarks, and I need output from |dir /s /b /a| from your favorites directory. If you have anything that you don't want posted online i suggest you try pruning them out. if they fix the problem then you'll have to spill.
Summary: Not all of IE's bookmarks are imported if there are too many it cuts them off. → Not all of IE's bookmarks are imported if there are too many it cuts them off.

look hard at the list of favorites that are imported. If every favorite up 'Favorite X' is imported then we need to look at favorite X. Not too long ago there were several bugs of the style; "IE favorites that contain such and such offending character" cause automatic import to be truncated.
yep this is the normal dupe. ".." messes up. If anyone wants the list we can attach it. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 53152 ***
