This isn't the same as the other bug about the mouse wheel scrolling all the way
to the bottom/top of the page with one movement. When I use the mouse wheel, the
page moves up or down as if I had hit the Page Down/Up button. I have set in
preferences for Mozilla to move one line at a time. I also have confirmed my X
is set up correctly for my mouse, etc.
Please always include build ID in a bug report.
Is it the same bug as bug 64861 ?
Have you seen this bug for a long time or is it new?

Yes it is the same as the other bug you mentioned (I posted that one but it was
wrongly marked as a duplicate). I am using an Athlon 600 CPU. This problem has
been happening for me under linux for at least the last few milestones (maybe
longer...) and it isn't new.
Reporter, are you using a tool like imwheel that translates mousewheel actions
to page up/down clicks in order to enable mousewheeling for non-mousewheel-aware
apps? If so, you must tell it to not perform this translation for mozilla, which
handles mousewheeling internally. For me, scrolling a line at a time works fine.

No, to my knowledge I'm not using anything like that. This copy of Mozilla is
being run on a pretty fresh installation of Linux-Mandrake 7.2 using KDE. I also
should mention that the mouse is a working Microsoft Intellimouse.

performs perfectly ;) thanks guys
