User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.0; Trident/4.0; SLCC1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; Media Center PC 5.0; MDDC; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30618; InfoPath.1; .NET4.0C) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 Firefox 4 is incompatible with the screen loupe that is included in Windows. It follows the cursor properly, but while typing not the text itself is magnified but the part of the screen that is below the text. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Start Windows screen loupe 2.Start Firefox 3.type text Actual Results: The screen loupe magnifies the wrong part of the screen. Expected Results: Magnify the line where I am typing. The problem only appears in Firefox and only after downloading the new version. It may not be severe for the majority of users but for me it means that I have to use Internet Explorer.
Does the issue still occur if you start Firefox in Safe Mode? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode
Version: unspecified → 4.0 Branch
Starting firefox in save mode makes the situation better as long as one doesn't use the arrow keys, as soon as they are pressed the screen loupe jumps somewhere else again. The only exeption is tthe bugzilla webpage .
