(In reply to comment #1) > Please post the graphics section from about:support > > Have you updated your graphics driver to the latest release? Not sure what you mean by "graphics section from about:support" The graphics driver is up to date and the on-board graphics are listed below. NVIDIA GeForce 7100 / NVIDIA nForce 630i
Go to about:support page of Firefox button -> Help -> Troubleshooting Information and click the Copy to Clipboard button. Paste only the graphics section to this report

I have also now noticed if i scroll in the box (middle mouse button) where the lines appear under the typed words they disappear.
Here is a picture of the lines - http://i54.tinypic.com/264izo1.png
Nvidia's site seems to show this as the most recent -> http://www.nvidia.com/object/win7-winvista-64bit-266.58-whql-driver.html Does installing that version resolve the issue?
Thanks for the info and link, that appears to have sorted it, i will have to update the driver on my laptop also as that has the same problem. How strange updating the driver using device manager reported the driver up to date when obviously it was not. Thanks again for your time and effort. ;)
UPDATE - The lines are back again, i should have tested more than one forum, i have noticed if i move the scroll button (middle mouse) one click or click (left mouse button) anywhere in the box i am typing in (like this one) the lines disappear.
What site(s) does it occur on (1 or 2 examples are fine)? Can you provide the exact steps to reproduce (i.e. go to www.example.com, click on post, scroll up, type 'test', etc...)?
