This is a related bug that I submmitted earlier today (see bug 64941). I went to Mcafee.com to download a new virus defination file. While looking at the download window as the download was in progress, I saw an extension of the border line from the either side of the progress bar guage. These lines were coming from the bottom of the progress bar guage. I was using the Modern Theme when I saw this bug. You might want to consider "cutting off" these extra lines on either side of the download progress window.
