While it's now possible to drag downloaded items with the left-click of the mouse, it should be also possible to do so with right-click, so the OS context menu appears on drop.

This is a follow up for Bug 462172. In that ticket it hasn't been observed the requirement of being possible to drag downloaded items with right-click.

Just to exemplify the use case, I'm downloading patches from the web, right-click-dragging them from their folder over the development folder and selecting the "Apply Patch" option. In this case, the feature proposed at Bug 462172 is useless.
