When pressing to see whether it is a secured connection or not, the Larry doorhangers are displayed, but no text is present (See Screenshot 1, Screenshot 2)

Reproducible: always

Steps to reproduce:
 1. Visit www.google.com
 2. Press on favicon present on the far left of the navigation bar
 3. Repeat steps 1,2 for www.addons.mozilla.org

Actual results:
 - no text in the doorhnager

Expected results:
 - text is present

Notes:
 - issue is also present on Firefox 3.5.18, but not present on 3.5.17

I reproduced this issue on two different machines running Ubuntu 10.04 for 32bit.

This does not affect 1.9.2.17 or 2.0.1 on the same system.

The only change between the 3.5.17 release and the 3.5.18 release was the Comodo cert blacklist (bug 642395). That shouldn't have affected the Larry text.

In fact, it is broken in 1.9.1.17 though I can make out faint text in that version. It looks like this is some kind of theming issue with the font color. Maybe there has been a recent change on Ubuntu?

We didn't change anything here, I bet it was an Ubuntu theme change. Does messing around with the system theme help? If so can we document what to do (relnote, SUMO article)?

Since 3.5 has been EOL, I'd say this is WONTFIX. Please reopen if I am mistaken.
