Maybe this is a really stupid request, but this is (at least for me) HIGHLY annoying: When i check for new mail, moz checks the server for mail, flashes up "No new messages", then "Document: done (0.451 seconds)". Just from a usability point of view, for me at least it would be 100x more important to know if there are any new messages than the fact that MozMail checked my inbox at supersonic speed. Basically, I think the message "No new messages on the server" should be visible all the time. Especially on faster computers, that message is replaced almost instantaneously with the "Document: done" message.
Couldn't agree more. It's already filed, however. Dup of 49202 "statusbar tells "Document Done.." overwriting current item on status bar" *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 49202 ***
