We've decided to move the old, pre-kitsune forum URL redirects into Kitsune and add an interstitial page letting people know that the old URL is deprecated and that they should update their bookmarks. After a month or so we'll drop the pre-kitsune URLs entirely.
https://github.com/jsocol/kitsune/commit/4c1fb69 based on code in https://github.com/jsocol/kitsune/commit/593127c7 To test: visit /forum/3 (or /4 or /5) and verify that there's an interstitial page that redirects after 10 seconds. It should include the URL it will take you to.
