When managing bookmarks there's no way of ordering by name, date or anything _and_ saving the order.

(translating from Swedish version here)
All I can do is 'view' and choosing either 'unordered' or 'order by [...]'. When using the automatic 'order by', I can't modify or save the order so that the menu later on is correct.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to the bookmark manager
2. Choose a folder with bookmarks
3. Go to the menu and choose 'Order by name'
4. Stare at the screen, trying to figure out how to save the automatically ordered list.
Actual Results:  
I still had my _manually_ ordered list in the bookmark menu.

Expected Results:  
The list should have been automatically ordered and stored for easy, logical access in the bookmark menu.

Either a 'permanently order by' menu option, or a 'save' button somewhere would suffice.

The order by is a View option, as the name says it acts on the View, not on the real ordering.
IF you want to order bookmarks by name you should instead right click on a folder (included bookmarks menu if you wish) and choose Sort By name.

Marco: That only works for the 'name' parameter. Say I want to sort by URL (since names tend to be '[ blah blah ]', or there's a certain other logic).

I admit my needs may seem quirky, and I can easily hack together a shell script for it. But maybe someone else is interested in this. However I guess they'll in that case wake this issue .)

Yes, it's only for name, there is an old request to allow any sorting, but it's low priority.
