Print Preview does not offer any UI for selecting a printer. It does the preview based on the last printer previously used.
The only available UI is in the Print dialog -- but it only becomes effective if you actually print something.
This affects both Seamonkey and Firefox 4, by the way. I didn't check, but I wouldn't be surprised if it affects also Thunderbird and other Gecko software.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a page
2. Select Print Preview
3. Try to choose a specific printer
4. No UI readily available; click on "Print."
5. Select a different printer.
6. Click "Cancel" not to print.
7. Click on "Print" again: since you cancelled, default printer is still the previous one.
8. Select a new printer, but this time, click on "Print"
Actual Results:
You printed without a real preview -- the preview was calculated for a different printer. Depending on the size of the document and on the printers involved, one printout could be several pages longer than the other.
Expected Results:
I should be able to specify the printer I'm going to actually print the document on, for previewing purposes.
