Channel Switcher is officially its own feature in FX, so we need a gorgeous screenshot of it in action for the rev guide, website etc.
Would be nice to have a screenshot for June 1st. It should be similar to the one attached, with all the fancy photoshop stuff we usually do to them.
This should be of the Beta channel switcher changing to release, not of aurora to beta, but since that's all I have...
Thanks!

Attached are the Mac screens. I would like to make sure these are usable before creating Windows and Linux.

LoMo. Do you have what you need here?

Hey Stephen, the one that's 300 dpi looks very pixelated on my screen. Is there a reason why?

That's the tradeoff of resizing up to double the screen capture size and exaggerating all the details a bit. It was a small screenshot to start with. The hard edges should still be sharp (ie: underlines and some characters) but I did notice the rough edges. I tried it a couple times and got similar results. It's possibly more visible this time around with the larger elements.
I have not see the guides, but I would think this is larger then needed and the resizing down into the document would help some.

Yah, I wouldn't want to print at the size I see on screen, it looks very pixelated. Could you let us know what the optimal print size would be for this to feel crisp and high res?

I'm not overly familiar with printing or how the guide is being printed or how big the screenshot needs to appear on the page so that's a tough question. Unless you're printing it super big, either of the files should work. Do you get to do test prints first?

I should also point out that because the file is resized up, you're looking at it on screen at 200%. If you view it at 50%, it would look better and more accurately to what the printed copy would look like.
Both of the attached files could in theory be the same printed width. One just happens to have more pixels per inch which makes it look bigger on screen at 100%.

Thanks Stephen--I think this looks good, but per comment 0, I would prefer to have a shot of the beta to release, instead of Aurora to beta.
The beta builds have just been built (I think there may be an l10n issue with the Mac builds, but here's the ftp link: ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/5.0b2-candidates/build1/).
We should also get localized versions of the screenshot while we're doing this (sorry for not saying that earlier).

The first set of screenshots for Mac. I'm missing Japanese because it was not listed on the download page.

Actually--looks like channel switcher is no longer going to be called out. marking this bug resolved won't fix.
