https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/seamonkey/search-tools/ looks empty because we have no featured search engines set.

Someone needs to select those (Ratty, can you?) and then I can actually add them there (as I'm the only one around that has the AMO privs to do that).

We should get this done before we officially release 2.1 to the public, I guess.
I went through the Sort by rating and sort by Downloads links and came up with a few:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/wikilook/
(Extension)

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/seamonkey/addon/youtube-10423/
(OpenSearch plugin)

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/seamonkey/addon/mycroft-project/
(OpenSearch plugin)

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/seamonkey/addon/search-add-ons-for-firefox/
(OpenSearch plugin)

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/seamonkey/addon/longman-english-dictionary/
(OpenSearch plugin)

I've also posted a message to Mozillazine asking for additional recommendations and for people to test these search plugins.

Scratch that, hardcoded for Firefox addons.
I don't think we are going to get anything useful from the newsgroup thread. Lets go forward with what we have.
Hmm, I have no idea how to set those, even with my admin account. Fligtar, how do I do that?
This category is now working. Appears to be autogenerated but lists Search extensions rather than search engine plugins.
Searching for search plugins works.
