When clicking items in Bookmarks/history it always open in current tab there by loosing content on current tab. Trying to open the link in a new tab with Cmd + Click is also not working.

Reproducible: Always
the first part is expected and I cannot reproduce the second part, cmd+click always opens in a new tab for me. Try safe mode maybe? http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode
Tried safe mode. Its the same Cmd + clicking is still opening in same tab. I am using Firefox 5 on mac book pro running osx 10.6.7
This happens when Cmd + clicking from the menu bar. In other scenarios, say opening History in side bar, Cmd + click works fine.
I can reproduce the problem in the menu, also on Firefox 3.6.x, may be a duplicate or wanted, confirming for now while we check.
