Mozilla doesnt look for the already installed 1.3.0_01 plugin. It could be a
resitery problem on Windows NT. On windows 98/ME, Mozilla seems like it is
expecting the plugin always on C drive.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.uninstall mozilla and install it again on NT
2.install plugin to D drive on windows 98/ME
3.
Actual Results: can not display applets
Expected Results: can not display applets

bug 58267 sounds like the source of my problem. I have been using installer
builds too. On the other hand, it must be cleared up on Windows 98/me versions
always expecting the JRE on C drive. Could this be also the side effect of the
installer?
Yes, I think it is a side-effect. The solution of 58267 was to make sure the
java plugin dlls are copied to the mozilla bin directory. Since 58267 is
fixed, can we close this?
Ed
Sure, thanks for the fix.
