The website http://chat.mozillamessaging.com was nominated as a site for retirement in the Website Taskforce meeting on June 9th: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Websites/Taskforce/Proposals/Abandoned_Sites/2011 Sancus, Rebron, can we retire chat.mozillamessaging.com? The site has a copyright of 2004-2005, and offers 2 chat rooms, both of which display a "Service Unavailable" error when accessed.

Does this website write any data to a database? Is there a wiki page that describes the original intention of this website?

Just as a JFTR - I'm not mentioning this as an argument for not closing the site: The site seems to work - accessing the "Test" room worked fine for me.
