In Internet Search Preferences panel, when the check box for "Search Results" is
selected, only the top part of the check mark appears.

are you still seeing this on a new build?
No, it's still a problem with the latest (20010129).  Did someone tell you that 
this was actually fixed?  I've noticed that when I log bugs that the response 
is to constantly check against the next day's build.  Unless if you have an idea 
that it is fixed, you should refrain from doing this.  I do not like having to 
waste my time trying every single days build.  If you keep doing this, I will 
stop filing bugs.
This is a problem in the classic theme but apparently not the modern theme. 
Reporter, assume that if someone is asking you if you can reproduce in a current
build that they have a current build and do not see the problem.  Without the
critical piece of information that this is apparently theme specific it is
easily possible that someone tried to test the bug and did not see it.

Yes, I've verified this bug as "workforeme". Also, verified again and it
worked fine, no problem on the latest build on Linux (2001-03-08-21-Mtrunk).
