Is this just for saving a draft so you don't lose changes if you close your browser, or is this a "server-side" draft?

The goal is to keep you from losing your changes if you accidentally close your tab or hit the back button or whatever.

While you edit an article, the editor auto-saves a draft during any 3s pause in typing.

If you edit an article for which you already have a draft saved, the editor asks you if you want to load the draft.

Sheppy, this could use some feedback:

How often should we auto-save?

When should we destroy the draft, so we don't bother editors with the load dialog all the time?

Looks good to me. I'd probably auto-save after maybe 10 seconds or so; 3 might actually be too often. Otherwise I like it, although the compare versions thing is giving me a really borked screen right now.

yeah, those pages are functional but haven't received any MDN design treatment yet. they're just straight-up copied from SUMO.

I'm resolving this fixed and we can open new bugs as we find interface annoyances to fix.
