Is the reason that you propagate focus but drop blur on the floor that you don't need to worry about blur since you always bounce focus elsewhere? If so, could you explain that in a comment?
It might be better if somebody who knows a little more about focus reviews this, but I suppose it's probably ok.
And again, apologies for the massive delay.
