From bug 648022:
--
I've found something interesting in comparing two crash reports with different build IDs:
Build ID 20110611042006: https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/de2099d9-5809-4c7a-9839-3a7ae2110621
Build ID 20110621042010: https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/d7e991bb-a3ef-4316-a314-dbc312110621
In both cases, the module lists reports a xul.dll with version 6.0.0.4179 and a debug identifier of F0C503A2E6D84C00888AE3CF29B650952.

I'd like to check for this type of mismatch on a larger scale - basically look for xul.dll versions which are associated with more than one buildid, which would indicate a mismatch between application.ini and xul.dll.

When performing the comparison be sure that 64bit Build IDs aren't confused with 32bit Build IDs.

Is this data request still relevant, i.e. does it still need to be done? If not, can you close the bug? Thanks.

I think this would still be useful to know. It's hard to tell whether it's relevant without actually checking.
