If I select a site, all I get is another blank window. I am using an 18-month old VAIO laptop, VGN FW31E, Windows 7 Home Premium (32-bit). Reproducible: Always I am unable to do anything more. There is no URL bar visible and the instructions for getting a stack trace won't work as all I get when I click on the title baar is the usual Windows control menu.

(In reply to comment #1) > Please create a fresh profile, > http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles The problem has disappeared after I did a system restore and re-installed the current version.
I don't know what you mean by "disabling Security related Applications", but also see Comment 4.
