I have an acct at JCPENNEY.com. 
It's in my pw manager as 
https://shop5.jcpenney.com
with a pw but no username. 
I go to login. 
https://shop5.jcpenney.com/jcp/Login.aspx?context=AccountInformation&CmCatId=customerservice|accountservices

pw is filled in but username is not. 
I typed username. 
Click sign in. 
I am signed in but pw manager did not ask to save the pw. 

To test I used the remember password bookmarklet from squarefree.com and the pw is saved with the username. 
Is this a failure of autocomplete, or pw manager, or what? 

Reproducible: Always



Expected Results:  
pw should be saved if I have prefs set to save pw regardless of website architecture.

This is likely a dupe of Bug 433238.

Seeing similar behaviour on https://jazz.net/. Bug 433238 didn't seem related at first glimpse.

Confirmed in safe mode. Still probably a dupe but at least, this is not an isolated case, raising to NEW.

Deleting the saved password entry solves the issue for me (for now). Now, the question would be why the login got erased from the saved list.

The issue is still present for me on intranet sites. I didn't find a workaround there.
