User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; WOW64; rv:5.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/5.0 Build ID: 20110615151330 Steps to reproduce: I have the latest Aurora (as of today, 6.0a2). I figured I might as well have it check for new versions of Aurora. However, it wasn't clear about whether there was a new version. All I see is a link to the update site. It should either state that an update was found or you have the latest version. My test on on Ubuntu 32-bit 11.04. Actual results: The check for updates result isn't clear. Expected results: The check should either report Update found or You have the latest version.
Actually, I get the same results even when there is definitely a newer Aurora. So I think the update check just isn't working.

problem gone for you in newer version?

No idea. I haven't used Aurora in years. These days, my main browser on a desktop is Pale Moon. I sometimes keep a Beta around on Android, but for testing only.
