From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux 2.2.17-21mdk i686; en-US; m18) Gecko/20010128 BuildID: 20010128 Goto a page that gives you a prompt to install Java. Start the installation. The installation with add the java2 directory to /plugins but not add the actuall plugin. The cursor will hang busy and on restart Java will not be installed Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Install Java from the Java installation page Actual Results: Cursor hangs and no java plugin exists in the plugins directory. However, there is a java2 directory Expected Results: Java plugin should be installed in the plugin directory and Java should work This was done on a fresh Mandrake 7.2 installation, it also is true on the CVS pull, and I do own the mozilla directory.
