The Mozilla ID project will be iterating on Firefox integration of the Verified Email Protocol (and other concepts). This work will first use the Addon SDK in order to quickly test UX, etc... This API will be the beginning of a very useful, general purpose crypto toolkit for Addons to consume. This bug is for Addon-SDK integration

David: have you written up a feature page for this API yet? It'd be useful for us to be able to read up on the proposal!

Assigning to dcm to flesh out the feature specification.

We're moving from bugs to feature pages for tracking future SDK features, so resolving this bug in favor of the feature page. Once the feature page is complete, and we've decided to implement the feature, we can reopen one or more bugs, as needed, on the implementation work to make it happen.
