Details
My symptoms/str are _exactly_ the same as bug 574663, which was Mac-specific:
* Start two finger scrolling
* Remove fingers from touchpad
* Hit ctrl
The page will zoom in or out depending on which way I scrolled. Disabling kinetic scrolling works around the issue. There's an upstream bug in Launchpad on this topic, too: https://bugs.launchpad.net/utouch/+bug/728643
