Adding Dave in this thread.
We talked to Joshua yesterday and he wants mostly to experiment by compiling manually programs, thus doing this on dxr.m.o directly is highly discouraged.
Dave: we were thinking to spin up a VM/another server for "staging" purposes and give Joshua access to work on that, what do you suggest?

dm-dxr01 still exists, it never got shut down.  We were going to put it there before we moved it to dp-dxr01.  We could just let him access there and finish setting it up.
