We are applying a hack to mozilla.com and .org to enable them to run under one domain, as if they were the same codebase.
This requires a few tweaks to several core files on both sites. The aim is to run mozilla.org as a subfolder of mozilla.com, but only as an svn:external or something (so technically they are separate codebase and nothing changes on the dev-facing side).
I have this working locally. My patch will break mozilla.org as a standalone site, so anyone with it checked out would have to make changes. I'm currently looking into how to fix this.
