670470 - Somehow lost sync connectivity on one (desktop) profile

Instead of showing me the "Sync Now" menu item, I was getting a "Setup Sync" item. Other devices were still seeing the tabs for that profile, though outdated.
about:sync-log only contains data until yesterday, and nothing indicates any failure. Last entries in the last log were:

Nothing appeared there when i re-setup sync in an attempt to fix the situation. Actually nothing appeared there until after i reset sync several times, and started adding back my other devices...

Did you wipe your password stored in Firefox? That's the most common cause for losing your Sync setup on a Firefox profile.

No, I hadn't touched anything related to sync between the last log and the time i noticed i couldn't sync. :(

I'm not sure whether you consider Firefox's password manager as sync related or not. If you fiddle with the privacy settings and have Firefox forget certain data on shutdown, Sync will forget its setup.
