In Basecamp, we discussed our interest in allowing users to link to their other web profiles. We identified the following fields as useful:

* Website
* Blog
* GitHub
* Twitter
* LinkedIn
* Facebook (?)

Any thoughts on this? Does this accurately capture what we discussed in Basecamp? Does this completely describe the feature we plan to build?

Any decision on linking to the MDN user page? Should probably be at least a permanent item in the list on the profile view page, methinks.

yeah, we need to preserve the user wiki page.  let's add that as a permanent item somewhere on the page.

craig: it can go with the other sites or we can just have a small "wiki user page" link somewhere else on the page.

Any decision on users listing their Facebook profiles? In the original Basecamp discussion, Jay noted that he wasn't sure if Facebook was necessary.

Janet, Jay, and I had a discussion around this on IRC. We all decided that linking to Facebook profiles would not be necessary.
