User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:8.0a1) Gecko/20110712 Firefox/8.0a1 Build ID: 20110712030758 Steps to reproduce: Open the nvidia-settings and powermixer tab. It's setted as "adaptive" because it's a laptop pc. Performance level is setted at 0 (clock lowest) Starting firefox 5 stable doesn't change the level Starting firefox 8 nigthly nvidia gpu level became maximum and the fan start Actual results: Starting firefox 8 pc became hotter respect starting firefox 5 Expected results: Gpu performance doesn't change (remain minimum)
