The page at https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Creating_a_patch is out of date, both in that it spends a lot of time on CVS commands, and that the hg commands it recommends are not as good as those at https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Mercurial_FAQ#How_can_I_generate_a_patch_for_somebody_else_to_check-in_for_me.3f I'm not sure of the best way to fix--I've added a link to the latter page, but we should probably purge the cvs and hg diff info (or maybe move it? There are still projects that use CVS, and they might want it). I'm also not positive we want to always recommend using mq to create a patch, instead of hg diff. mq gives us a better formatted patch (with author info, etc.), but also requires user to know how to delete the patch from their mq series, etc.
