User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:5.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/5.0.1 Build ID: 20110707182747 Steps to reproduce: Using Firefox 5.0.1 on OSX 10.6.8, attempting to login to my account at Chase.com. I reported this under bug ID 629227 and advised file as a new bug. Actual results: There's no response from Firefox for 3-5 seconds after hitting Enter, then the "Unable to Log On (Error Code LO013)" error page loads. From the error page, there's no delay when attempting to log in... the same error page reloads immediately. I just upgraded to FF 5 a few days ago and can't recall if login worked anytime since the upgrade. Safari works. Assuming Chase.com requires a reset after 3 failed login attempts, then the failed attempts in FF are not registering as failed attempts on Chase's end. I can provide more technical info with instructions on how to get it.
Just went to chase.com using OSX 10.6.8 and FF5.0.1 and FF6.0b1. HAD NO PROBLEM LOGGING IN WITH EITHER VERSION TO MY ACCOUNT.
Jason, instructions on how to reproduce or whatever other data you have would be very helpful. I've logged in to Chase at least a dozen times over the last several days with no problems, so whatever is going on is somewhat subtle. Just to make sure, does the problem appear if you run in safe mode?
It also occurs in safe mode. I found a list of messages in the error console, however I alos just received an mail informing me Chase Online will be down for most of the weekend for maintenance. Might as well wait until Monday...

This issue remains and I do not understand why it is not more widespread. Apparently you can login with Firefox (my wife does often) but I cannot with Seamonkey 2.31. I have had a problem with Chase since last fall. Chase's response is to use a 'real' browser, suggesting Chrome or Firefox 25 or higher. That irked me. The question remains why can I not resolve their home page with graphics ad why are some links not present in seamonkey? For instance there is no link to go to the credit card area, no link to make a payment etc. I've attached a screen shot, and as a note I know there are a lot of tabs open but it is the same with a clean boot. these are the first 90 lines of source code from the page and you can see there are huge swaths of code Seamonkey ignores. <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd"> <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=Edge" /> <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8"/> <meta name="keywords" content="student loans, business banking, commercial banking, auto loans, Checkings, Chase bank, provides credit cards, mortgage, investing and retirement planning"/> <meta name="description" content="CHASE Bank provides credit cards, mortgage, commercial banking, auto loans, investing and retirement planning, checking, student loans, and business banking.
