Steps to reproduce:

I made an event in the calendar and invited an attendee. After he accepts the event (either from ms outlook or from gmail, we tried both), I get an email, that informs me about the acceptance and there is a button at the top of the message (Update). If I click this button, I cannot modify or delete the event any more.


Actual results:

2. Accept the Update
3. Try to modify or delete the event
Actual Results:  
After updating the event, I cannot modify delete it.

(In 1.0b2 Lightning inform the accepted Person with a change or delete Info if I change or delete the event. In 1.0b4 that not works)



Expected results:

If i change oder delete a acceptet Event, it must inform the Person that i Change oder delete the Event

Possibly a dupe of bug 668222. Do you get any of the error messages noted there?

Accespt Event is OK. I see the User in the accepted Event. But then i can't delete or modify the Event.
I think its not the same as 668222

Ok, do you get any other error messages in the error console?  Where are you updating the event? (event dialog, in the calendar view, from the email view, in the right pane?)

Oh i see it. I will follow 668222. If a new german xpi is avalible, i will test it and report the result here.

In the English Version (1.0b5pre)
ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/calendar/lightning/nightly/latest-comm-miramar/win32-xpi/lightning.xpi from 2011-07-18 it's not fixed now.
The German Version is older, i have not checked.

thommy, Bug 668222 was just marked fixed today. This means you'll have to use the next nightly build (2011-07-20) or newer for testing.

Works fine in 1.0b5rc3. I have testetd. Wait for German Translation.

Please stop unmarking this bug duplicate!!! It is fixed by the referenced bug, no doubt about it. German is contained in the release build, you just need a german thunderbird. If there is any trouble accessing the german locale, it does not change anything about this bug status.
