User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:7.0a2) Gecko/20110716 Firefox/7.0a2 Build ID: 20110716042001 Steps to reproduce: update and restart Actual results: Every time I restart (restart or quit and start, Aurora starts with second and / or third window full of tabs that were open but the front window or the own that was active when quit or restart ONLY ever has the first two (2) tabs.. The rest Do NOT restore Expected results: All tabs that were loaded in the window when I quit or restart should reload.
I use mozilla 24x7 and this is really bugging me! It happens Every time. In preferences I have "When Aurora Starts": Show my Windows and Tabs from last time and Home Page: Aurora Start Page (the only way I could get this to work since 3.16 was to use about:sessionrestore for Home Page and choose when 'mozilla' starts: my home page... Fiver this out. this is almost a year

I've confirmed it, the ONLY way to get more than 2 tabs back in the 'last active window' (after restart or quit / start) is to put 'about:sessionrestore' in as the "Home Page" in Preferences..

also, i tried to make the 'When Aurora Starts' set to Home Page and set the 'Home Page' to about:sessionrestore like I used to in Nomaroka, but that resulted in background windows being gone and the active when quit window empty except for the one tab 'sessionrestore' which the session box is Empty. also, in this new windows, when i load pages that were loaded at Quit, they are no longer 'logged in' to the websites. Landis.
i opened on window of 'bookmarked' tabs (about 20) and opened a new window and loaded 4 tabs that were logged into websites (twitter, facebook, yahoo and mozillazine).. Restarted in 'Safe Mode' and except for the position of the windows, no big deal, Mozilla (Aurora) did load both windows and all tab, logged in to the sites. Hmmm, Landis.

All my extensions are Gone when I start normal using profile manager. Not Nice. I tried to run a copy of Aurora 7 that was not Aurora 6 with a hundred updates. I loads both windows and all tabs, but All extensions are gone in both the Aurora 6 updated vers and the fresh 7 version, but the tabs load. Landis.
with the Loss of my Add-ons, the only things left installed are: Extensions: Russian Spellchecking dictionary 0.4.4 by Alexander Slovesnik United States Spellchecking 5.0.1 by jooliaan Plugins: IcedTea NPR 1.9.7 (suse-1.2.2-i386) Shockwave Flash rev 10.3r181 VLC Multimedia Plug-in 1.1.9. I've added my Office Black 'theme' 1.6.3 by t-rane (I Can NOT stand 'standard' - MaxVersion changed by me) Thats it. Landis.

Please post back when you find the extension at fault - reporting to the extension author is also a good idea

I never found the 'extension' that caused the Problem. With a new profile and adding back one at a time problem did not reappear, UNTIL NOW. With Today's update (29.07.11) and restart (applying updates) I Have the Same Problem Again. Active window when closed, Restores First Two (2) Tabs ONLY. This did not happen for a few weeks and without Adding Any 'add-ons' or changing anything, other than todays update. It's Back Landis.

Resolution: INVALID → DUPLICATE
FYI... with 'Nightly' 8.0a1 I do Not have the problem, using the same profile. I do however have Huge lag in my typing and cursor speed, but that's another issue Landis.
