seen on Mac build 2001-01-31-10-mtrunk -open pop mail -click "Get Msg" incoming mail is retrieved but "unkown error 80004005" message appears
I'm seeing this on 2001012504 on W2k as well. Looks very much like a dup of bug 57057, or 57057 should depend on this one.
Marking as dupe of bug 57057. (See bug 66776 which is a dupe of 57057) *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 57057 ***

Unknown error is a very general error and can occur in various places at various times. It is not easy to track them down until we know the exact situation when it occured. So reopening

Ok, then this should be duped to bug 66776 (or the other way around). They are exactly about the same issue (same error # on getting POP mail).

bug 66776 is the same OS: Mac System 9.xx and the same error while downloading msg.
this is a duplicate of bug 66776 and bug 57057. Also, this problem no longer occurs (at least for me) when retrieving POP messages, so this particular bug should either be marked as a duplicate or "resolved."
