With the recent trends and improvements seen in the Firefox interface, it is a shame that the Print Preview function still looks a little out-dated.
While there has been a movement to move dialog boxes so that they appear within the window itself, the Print Preview dialog does this, yet still manages to look out of place in the new look.
I propose that this interface be tweaked a bit in order to match with the current look of our default theme. Rather than "locking" the rest of the window, the toolbar for a tab in Print Preview mode would replace the navigation toolbar. This design also uses drop-down menus themed to look more in line with the current design of the browser.
While many would still want the Print and Print Preview windows combined into a general integrated Print dialog (perhaps, like the one in Office 2010), this would be a step in the right direction, and could influence the further design of such a window.
