Basically, this:
data:text/html,<form><input type='search'></form>

Should make the virtual keyboard showing a magnifying glass instead of "GO".

I can see such a keyboard on my Asus eeePad so it might be Android 3.x specific.

I'm not sure I understand the question... The virtual keyboard of my tablet does show a magnifying glass for search fields. I've even looked at some none pre-installed apps and some do that too (like Opera Mobile).
