With a simple text field to supply the article URI.

open the link dialog (toolbar button or ctrl/cmd + l), change link type to 'Article', enter the article slug. converts to a relative href: e.g., separate-ckeditor-calls becomes href="/docs/separate-ckeditor-calls" good candidate for selenium test? sheppy: check this out on kuma-stage and see what you think. we still need to add the search feature, but this is at least a way to link to articles without typing the full url's. re-open with comment if you want.

This looks pretty good. One thought: I don't really like having a popup for the URL scheme; it adds a step when copying and pasting URLs.
hmm ... as far as I can tell, ckeditor "link" command is always the dialog. if we want to do our own "quick-link" command that might be a separate bug? what's the ideal interface for copying & pasting URLs?
Not sure what you mean. The dialog is great; I don't like having a pop-up menu for choosing the scheme. I'd rather just type it in along with the rest of the URL.
Ah, now I see what you mean - the drop-down menu for protocol? It should auto-detect and adjust the drop-down value if you paste urls there.
Oh! Well, never mind then. :)
so we just need retornam to QA this.
