Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:5.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/5.0
Build ID: 20110615151330
Steps to reproduce:
Hello,
I tried to copy an existing event in the calendar to another date. Select event, right click, copy, go to another day, then try right click paste.
Actual results:
Nothing.
Paste is greyed out, also in the 'Edit' menu. Keyboard combination Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V also has no effect.
I noticed that grabbing an event with the mouse and dragging it to another day in the same calendar view works however! (Not much use if you want to drag to another month however!)
Expected results:
Event should have been pasted properly into the new location.

Possibly an issue to be fixed with bug 527254

Works fine for me using Lightning 1.0b4 with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:5.0) Gecko/20110624 Thunderbird/5.0.
What target calendar did you select in the left pane?
Maybe the selected calendar is read-only or switched off?
Hello,
I double checked on the calendar selection. I have 2 calendars actually.
I did not realize that calendar 2 was selected but I copied an event from calendar 1. When pasting it did not allow me to paste to the selected calendar (2). When selecting calendar 1 it did allow me to paste properly.
So this solves this issue.
Thanks for your help and sorry for the hooha!
