+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #675173 +++ On the merged site (http://www-dev.allizom.org/) trailing slashes are not forced on the thunderbird pages. For example, http://www-dev.allizom.org/en-US/thunderbird returns the page instead of redirecting with a trailing slash.
Fwiw, the existing mozilla.org homepage does the same thing. Cf: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird However if you go to mozilla.com/thunderbird, the following redirect will kick in: <http://viewvc.svn.mozilla.org/vc/projects/mozilla.com/trunk/.htaccess?revision=93212&view=markup#l76> and forward to mozilla.org/.../thunderbird/ with a trailing /. So it's not a problem introduced by the merge, but if you want to fix it, just make a redirect rule to catch our existing product sites without a trailing slash and append the slash.
Thanks Fred, just noticed that behavior too. I made an attempt at fixing it, but couldn't get it to handle everything correctly, so I'll leave it like it is for now. The important one is http://mozilla.org/thunderbird, which does redirect with a trailing slash currently, but not on the staging site. I made a fix for this case, so closing the bug. done in r93481
