This is with 2001-02-02-21/Linux. I think this was introduced with the nice grid lines in the address field. If I enter a 'To:' and hit return I'm in the next row, but the button ('To:') is missing, also the address card picture isn't present. email addressed entered there are treated as 'To:' (at least if 'To:' is selected in the first row). Set Serverity high since this prevents BCC, Reply-To, To+Newsgroup etc. If it were working, the grid would be nice :-)
This is not entirely true: the 'To:' appears after redrawing. But it is not that easy to find. (Changed serverity to normal).

Joe, any idea?
I see this on a linux cvs build from early morning of 2000-02-03. setting status to new. The "To" dropdown indeed reappears after a redraw....

<sigh> I've witness this sort of anamoly many times on Linux -- all the right pieces are there in the DOM, but for some reason, the widget doesn't get painted. This problem seem completely exclusive to Linux. See bug 51241 for another example of the same problem. I'm really not sure what to do about this -- unless someone can reproduce it on windows of mac, I have to pass it off as a bug in the linux layout code.
I think this was fixed (except for the address card, but that's another bug). Reporter, can you reproduce this?
works for me
