Build ID:
Mozilla /5.0 (Android;Linux armv7l;rv:6.0) Gecko/20110729 Firefox/6.0 Fennec/6.0
Devices: Motorola Droid 2 (Android 2.2), LG Optimus 2X (Android 2.2.2)
Steps to reproduce:
1. Visit www.google.com
2. If you are not redirected to the english version choose: "Google.com in English"
3. Select the clasic version.
Actual results:
Page is not rendered properly: the above tabs are overlaid, the google search bar and search button are over sized. Please see the attached screenshot.
Expected results:
Page should be displayed correctly.
Note: After clearing the profile from (Applications -> Manage Applications -> Firefox Beta -> Clear data) this issue is not reproducible.
I have attached the log too for LG Optimus 2X (Android 2.2.2)

So you can't reproduce it anymore then?

I'm able to reproduce this issue too. It seems that's reproducible only after I've made some browsing.

This bug has more to do with "Google is not sending Firefox a mobile page" than anything else. We can't render the desktop version of Google (Google Classic) correctly. Firefox's screen is not wide enough.
I feel like duping this to bug 668286, but I link it to bug 668288 for now.

I will add this: Why do we think that the Google desktop landing page should work well on a phone? or a tablet with a small portrait screen?

With Google+'s integration into the google toobar now, there is google feature functionality that is important to work correctly (notifications, share, etc.) this lays out nicely on stock android. Having them jumbled up like the youtube video will break that functionality.
I'll provide a screenshot for stock browser.

I think this has gotten worse. The entire 'Classic' site is unusable.

I am not seeing this behavior currently on fennec native nightly. The google.com desktop site now renders on fennec native nightly, not the one that is described (still an issue, but a different issue).

Confirmed on two different phones. Closing this as invalid, as it appears to no longer be valid.
