It seems like our "jump lists" for Windows and OS X are not kept in sync. Right now, the Jumplist for Windows contains these items: * Open New Tab * Open New Window * Start Private Browsing meanwhile its OS X counterpart I think only contains the first option – Open New Tab. I think it would sound logical for these lists to be kept in sync. Perhaps their generation should even be abstracted to into a platform agnostic function/module/whatever in Toolkit?
Oh, I also forgot to mention jump list categories, such as 'Frequent'. Our jump lists on Windows currently feature them. On OS X, I think these categories could be turned into submenus.
Summary: Windows and OS X jumplists are different → Windows and OS X jumplists should be kept in sync
its out of the concept of sync... actually sync is used store the data/information not for the "activities"..
The bug title says "in sync", as in "synchronized", not "in Sync", as in "in Firefox Sync".
